This creamy dill avocado dip is fresh, tangy, and packed with flavor. The richness of avocado blends perfectly with bright dill, tangy mustard, and a hint of sweetness for balance. Perfect as a dip, spread, or drizzle for veggies, fish, or grain bowls.

Chef’s Tip

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup fresh chopped dill
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon organic wheat-free tamari or Braggโ€™s
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon old-style mustard
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped sweet white onion
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon water (plus more as needed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a food processor or blender, combine dill, avocado, tamari, honey, mustard, onion, and lemon juice.
  2. Blend for 30 seconds, then scrape down the sides.
  3. Slowly drizzle in olive oil and water, blending again until smooth and creamy. Add more water, 1 teaspoon at a time, if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, blending once more for a final mix.
  5. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Chef’s Tip

For an extra creamy texture, add a spoonful of Greek yogurt or a splash of coconut milk. If you like a little heat, mix in a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes before blending.
