Chef’s Tip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almonds (soak overnight in water)
  • 1 young coconut
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 3 cups filtered water

Directions

  1. Rinse the soaked almonds and add them to a blender.
  2. Open the young coconut and pour its water into the blender.
  3. Scoop out the coconut meat, rinse well to remove any tough parts, and add it to the blender.
  4. Add vanilla powder and filtered water, then blend until smooth.
  5. Strain the mixture using a fine-mesh strainer bag into a bowl.
  6. Transfer the strained milk into glass bottles and store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
  7. Shake before use, as natural separation occurs. Enjoy!
Chef’s Tip

For an ultra-creamy texture, blend for an extra 30 seconds before straining. If you prefer a touch of natural sweetness, add 1-2 pitted dates before blending. Use the leftover pulp in smoothies, baked goods, or as a base for homemade granola!
